Here you’ll find information regarding my past accomplishments as Executive of New York's largest suburban county, as well as my proposals to restore New York State back to excellent financial health. After my election in 2003, I worked hard to take Suffolk County out of fiscal turmoil and turned it into one with a balanced budget, the highest bond rating in county history, and six consecutive years without a General Fund property tax increase. No one else can match my fiscal record. That’s why I feel I have the skill set necessary to save this state from bankruptcy and return it to its glory as the Empire State that we all love.
