Hauppauge - Republican candidate for Governor Steve Levy today announced the endorsement of Ulster County Conservative Chairman Edward Gaddy.
Mr. Gaddy said, "I feel that Steve Levy represents our best opportunity to take back the Governor's office. He has the agenda, the experience, and the financial resources to beat Andrew Cuomo in November and he has a specific post-election plan to bring the New York back to its former state of greatness. A lot of grassroots Republicans and Conservatives are seeing this."
The campaign noted that many of the highest-weighted Conservative counties, including Suffolk, Nassau, Bronx and Albany, have endorsed Levy for Governor. This is further proof that the Lazio campaign's statement that he already has the Conservative line locked down is pure fantasy, especially when you consider that he does not enjoy the support of the largest counties, like Erie and Onondaga along with those mentioned above.
This endorsement follows a string of Republican county endorsements including Sullivan which was announced this morning.
Mr. Levy said, "I thank Chairman Gaddy for his support and am honored to have his endorsement. This just adds to the burst of energy my campaign has generated over the last few weeks."
