Momentum Continues - 13 of last 14 County Endorsements for Levy
Hauppauge - Republican candidate for Governor Steve Levy today announced another endorsement for his candidacy, this one from Yates County Republican Chairman Robert Schwarting. The campaign noted that this is Steve's fifth endorsement in just over a week and that 13 of the last 14 endorsements from county Republican leaders went to Levy.
Mr. Schwarting said, "The key questions for Republicans to consider in this process are which candidate has the executive experience and the agenda to save the state from bankruptcy, and which candidate has the ability and the resources to run an effective campaign. I firmly believe that Steve Levy is that candidate.
Mr. Levy said, "I am very pleased with the momentum we have as the convention approaches. Every day we're getting great feedback from the grassroots Republicans who have been our primary focus over the last couple months. I thank Chairman Schwarting for his support and look forward to working with him to spread my message from now until November."
