Levy Announces Delegrate Support In Two Counties
Clinton and Wayne County State Committee Members Will be Supporting Levy at Convention
Hauppauge - Republican candidate for Governor Steve Levy today announced support from Republican State Committee members in Clinton County and in Wayne County which has been included in the Lazio column.
"After giving this much thought, I came to the conclusion that Steve Levy is the best candidate to beat the Democrats in November and has the best experience and ideas to be the next Governor," said Republican State Committee member Mary Jane Chilton of Clinton County. "If we're going to turn New York around, the approach Steve has taken in Suffolk County needs to be applied on a statewide level."
"Steve Levy's record of accomplishment stands on its own," said Republican State Committee member David Lyon of Wayne County. "Given the state of crisis New York is in, we need a Governor who has demonstrated success during challenging times. Steve Levy has done an excellent job managing one of the largest counties in the nation and is the most qualified candidate to be the next Governor."
Mr. Levy said, "I thank David and Mary Jane for having the courage to come out and do what they think is right, and I appreciate their support. Our momentum is growing with each passing day and this is another step forward for my campaign."
